alcides lanza Award in Electroacoustics @ Concordia University

Concordia University recently announced the "alcides Award in Electroacoustics".


Established at the initiative of Kevin Austin, Director of the Concordia University Electronic Music Studio this award recognizes the career and dedication of alcides lanza to the creation and teaching of electroacoustic music.

During a gala presentation, March 25, 2010, at the Hyatt Hotel, the "alcides Award in Electroacoustics" was given for the first time, to undergraduate student Tyler Fitzmaurice.
